Your case study is one of the most critical elements of your APC submission. It needs to demonstrate the right depth and breadth of experience, sit comfortably within the RICS format requirements, and convincingly evidence your competencies at the level required — particularly Level 3. Getting that right on your own is genuinely difficult.

This service puts an experienced eye on your case study across three structured sessions, taking it from a solid draft to a submission-ready piece of work.


What's Included

Session 1 — Understanding Your Case Study and Experience We start by getting under the skin of your project and your experience. This session is about understanding what you've done, how it maps to the required competencies, and identifying early on where the gaps, risks, or formatting issues lie.

Session 2 — Review, Comments, and Proposed Edits By this point you'll receive a marked-up version of your case study with detailed comments and proposed edits. We go through these together, discussing the reasoning behind each suggestion and agreeing on the direction for the final version.

Session 3 — Final Touches and Sign-Off The last session is about making sure everything is in place. Any remaining edits are addressed, the structure and narrative are tightened, and you leave with a case study you can submit with confidence.


Important — Who This Is For

This service is designed for candidates who already have a case study in progress — ideally a near-complete draft with the core ideas and project narrative already in place. If your case study is still at a very early stage, we'd recommend getting the key content written first before booking this review, so that you get the most out of each session.


What We're Looking For in Your Case Study

Every review covers the following:

  • Alignment with the RICS required format

  • Competency coverage and depth — particularly at Level 3

  • Soundness and coherence of the project narrative

  • Whether the case study is strong enough to withstand interview-level questioning

  • Any structural or presentational issues that could undermine an otherwise good submission
