Your Summary of Experience is the foundation of your entire APC submission. It needs to evidence the right competencies at the right levels, reflect a credible and consistent body of professional experience, and hold up under scrutiny — both on paper and in the interview room. This service takes you through a thorough, structured review across three sessions, covering every element of your submission from mandatory competencies through to CPD.
What's Included
Session 1 — Mandatory Competencies and CPD Review We start with the non-negotiables. This session covers a detailed review of your mandatory competencies across all levels, assessing whether they are evidenced clearly, consistently, and at the depth required. Alongside this, we review your CPD record — how much you've undertaken, whether it's relevant, and whether it tells the right story about your professional development.
Session 2 — Core and Optional Competencies Review The second session turns to your core and optional competency areas. We go through each one in detail, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or areas where the evidencing could be stronger. You'll receive written comments alongside examples of how improvements can be made, so you have something concrete to work from rather than just general feedback.
Session 3 — Final Review and Sign-Off The last session is about closing everything out. Any outstanding issues are raised and resolved, final edits are discussed, and we make sure your submission is coherent, complete, and ready to go in with confidence.
Important — Who This Is For
This service is designed for candidates who have already made meaningful progress on their Summary of Experience — ideally with a draft in place that covers most of the competency areas, even if it still needs significant work. The more complete your starting point, the more value you'll get from each session.
