APC study progress tool

Overview

• This tool is created to enable the APC candidate track the progress of studying using a study checklist

• This tool follows the RICS QS Pathway Guidance note which can be downloaded at the following link : https://www.rics.org/content/dam/ricsglobal/documents/join-rics/qs_and_construction.pdf

• The tool is composed of 3 sheets: Intro, Study Summary and Study Checlist.

• The "Study Checklist" sheet contains all the Mandatory & Core areas that a candidate has to choose and study. It also contains all the optional competencies where the candidate has to choose two.

• The "Study Summar" sheet showcases the actual progress of the APC candidate in all areas. There is a pivot table showcasing the amount of studied/finished items, outstanding items and percentage of completion

How to use the tool?

• Start with the "Study Checklist". Take your time in studying and after you finish a subject within an area of competence mark it in the text box as completed.

• After you finish a number of subjects, you can head to the "Study Summary" sheet and click on the "Refresh Table" Icon to refresh both the pivot table and the pivot chart.
